Why do snails move so slowly?

I could not walk very fast on my belly and a house on top of me either, Could you? LOL

i always try to speed them up by putting salt on them

They don't sweat the small stuff and they are very laid back.

Because they dont have legs, they depands on their bodies, they move the back of the body then moved their front of the head, and repeat again and again so they slowly

I think that slime trail they leave behind probably slows them down a little.

You wouldn't be able to move very fast if you didn't have legs.

the snails havent yet invented to moped.

They are just lazy. I don't think they have feet either so that's not really helping them out. They could at least get jobs as Wal-Mart greeters
