No. Braces are the best way to straighten your teeth. You could, however, knock your teeth loose and then reposition them the way that you want them. I don't recommend this though.

I'm sorry to tell you that as far as I know there is nothing else to straighten the teeth because the straighten them it has to take some time since the procedure takes a bit of time. That' s why braces are fixed and left in place to slowly bring the teeth to where they are desired to be. My son had to do so and they worked pretty well. Don't be afraid of them, Yes you feel them strange but you have to take some patience.
Call your dentist and tell him what is best to do and follow what his instructions.

We thought our son needed braces, but our dentist said they would straighten by themselves after he started to lose baby teeth and the permanent teeth grew in. Unfortunately, it didn't happen with my other two kids! So talk to the orthodentist.
