-Choose a person in history that has made a difference in NEW YORK...EX. Rosa Park
-Create a large symbol that could represent this person...ex: ROSA PARK---bus
-On thesymbol write the person's name in large printed letters, Include: date of birth death important, recomplishments of that preson picture of that person.

Martin Luther King Jr.symbol: Nobel Peace prize (received in 1964)
(January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968)
Accomplishments:
- Montgomery bus boycott
- Southern Christian Leadership Conference (civil rights organization)
- March on Washington (political rally where he delivered his "I have a dream" speech)
He's basically known for fighting for Black peoples' civil rights and his spectacular speeches
