Assuming you know how to do square roots, you can turn this into a decimal; (divide whats inside) and get the S.Root .25 which is .5 and that converts back to +/- 1/2 =/

or you can look at it like this;

√(1) / √(4)

√(1) = +/- 1
√(4) = +/- 2

Therefore, +/- 1/2 or +/- .5,

This equals 25, drop the decimal places and 0.25
