Find the equation of the line that goes through the point (2,-4) and is parallel to the line 4x-5y=7.
The answer is 4x-5y=28, but I have no idea how to get this answer. Can anyone show me how to do it, please?

=4/5
Since the line line that goes through the point (2,-4) ,using point-slope form
y-(-4)=(4/5)(x-2)
5(y+4)=4(x-2)
