寫法有很多種, 可以是比較口語化的或比較書面形式的, 而且語氣也分為客氣的還是嚴肅的(即上司對下屬).
現試列舉一個比較書面形式而客氣的寫法.
Today is 31st. The shipment is supposed to arrive at Hong Kong last weak. Why don't you tell me this matter until I ask you?

Today is 31st, the shipments suppose to arrive on last week.

You should inform me (about the delay) earlier, rather than notify me when I raised up the queries.

In future, if there is any incident that might affect the shipment schedule please inform me immediately.

This is 31st Jan, we expect the goods to be shipped last week, how come you notified us the delaying only when we checking with you?
Please let us have your explaination about this.

Thay shipment should have been gone last week, why don't you report to me until I ask you as late as today(31)?
