1) In △ABC, prove that
(a) cot C = ( 1 – cot A cot B ) / ( cot A + cot B )
(b) cot A cot B + cot B cot C + cot C cot A = 1
2) Given that θ1 and θ2 are two distinct acute angles satisfying the equation
tan2θ – 4 tan θ + 2 = 0
Without solving the equation, find the value of tan( θ1 + θ2 ).
