For One More Day is a facinating story of a man name Chic who has problems thoughout his life. The message in the story is to cherish every moment you have in your life.The message is to treat everyone around with love and care..always having to say 'i love you'every chance you get with that person that you love. The relation chic has with his parents i think were the cause of his problems..his dad pressured him on just baseball, while his mother pressured him with school. I think that his parents were the cause of his suicidal attemp. His mothers death lead him to drinking and having problems with his family. I would definiately recommend anyone to read this book..
