Don't waste your time and money in VM.
For big brands, like Lane Crawford, Joyce...etc, they only recruit people with experience or solid training in this field.
PolyU is the only academy providing degree courses on fashion, VM is a core subject for retailing student in fashion.
It is a must to have your own profolio for da interview and showing ur art sense.
We are not simply talking abt "nice drawing", but many criteria, like how to make props, electricity supply for display window...etc.
Unless you are very brilliant, employers still prefer a univeristy graduate/experienced VMer rather than a simple diploma holder to join.
Try the textile diploma in ive, you can practise ur drawing and make good use of ur color theory learnt from cosmetics.
Really, dont waste ur time in VM.
