Who is your favorite Old Testament prophet?

Really because he had faith to stand up to King Nebuchadnezzar while everyone did what he said, even though they knew it was wrong. He also had courage to not defile himself with the king's food. he stayed true to what he believed, even though he was in a foreign land and everyone else thought he was weird.

Elijah, he picked up his garment and ran ahead of horses and on a late start. Like Flash Gordon. Plus he got to ride in a flaming chariot with flaming horses.

Mine is Elijah I liked how he challenged the prophets of Baal.

Elisha
He had the guts to ask for a double portion and got it.

Mosses

Yeshayahu (Isaiah) because he is just like us. When he saw the Shekinnah (glory) of G-d, he said "Woe is me, for I am a man of unclean lips, and I am from a nation of unclean lips." With that, an angel took one of the burning coals, applied it to his lips, and told him his sins were purged.

They're all good.

Isaiah was quite a religious preacher and compares favorably to the best of the preachers on planet earth today.

Isaiah could certainly turn lemon into lemonade so to speak.

That's my view.

Jeremiah: He told me about the lying pen of the scribes that changed the true law of love into the blood thristy animal sacrifice that sounds just like devil worship. Jere. 8:8-9.

i am lovin Nehemiah! I just recently read Nehemiah...and fell in love with this book of the bible! it really helped me get back on track in my relationship with God! I love the way Nehemiah stands up against all those makin fun of what he is trying to do...and through it all, and with God, the walls of Jerusalem are built*
