actually, if someone has one megabyte of memory, instead of having 1000000bytes of meomory they really have 1048576bytes. explain why it appears that there are an extra 48576butes of memory??

you need to know that
8bit=1byte
1024(2^10)byte=1Kilobyte
1048576byte(2^20)byte=1Megabyte
1073741824byte(2^30)=1Gigabyte
and so on....

因為電腦係用二進制, 而人係用十進制.
2 既 20 次方 (2^20) 就係 1,048,576 (bytes).
至於人為左方便計算, 就約簡左做最接近既十進制數目 1,000,000 (bytes).
所以"額外"的 48576 bytes, 並唔係多左, 只係人為左方便而省略.
