verbal abuse at least with physical, the bruises heal a lot easier. But with verbal abuse, the scars run much deeper and can far more damage emotionally. Also with verbal you have the feeling of low self worth as well. not that either should be tolerated because both are bad.

Verbal because its acceptable to most people which makes it harder to address.

physical is life threatening though so it should never be tolerated.

Verbal. It changes the way you think for the rest of your life.

This is a weird question to answer because both are bad. However, I think verbal is worse. When physical abused the pain goes away, the wounds heal; but, in emotional abuse the pain, low self esteem and worthlessness is still lerking long after the abuse has taken place.
Trust me I know.

Toss up, both can mentally scar someone for life. In terms of children verbal abuse has created the likes of John Wayne Gacy, and physical abuse has created Pedro Lopez. But I suppose I'd have to say physical.

well, verbal abuse can affect you physically, but it takes longer, so physical--especially since some are insane enough to do a lot more than just hurt people! hopefully if you're in a situation like that, you'll get the heck out and get help!
