How come girls are considered the 'weak and helpless ones'?

well I don't know but I will that because girl are built different then boys or men because girls have a sensitive feeling and emotion with sometime just a little bit can make her cry and don't get me wrong. I know some men say that men don't cry while. who care. I cry sometimes for what reason I don't know but I'm not afraid to show my feelings that sometimes that I'm scare too. you know some guys wanna act taught and pretend that they don't scare or fear nothing but when you scare them they get scare and to woman is they are not afraid to show their feeling of who they are. that's all I know. it's about our personality, differences and feelings and our heart beats differently too.

Because guys have considerably more upper body strength.
None of this "dawn of time" crap, guys just have different amounts of hormone in them that makes building muscle easier, so they just end up with more upper body strength. Of course there are exceptions to every rule, like girls on steroids and super weak guys.

Probably when there reliance on men took over. In centuries past women carried there weight and were more self reliant to get the job done. I think a lot of it is there minds to.

Well, physically men are stronger in general, and early on in human existance, it was the man that fought and protected his female mate, not the other way around, so it stuck over the centuries.

When they got help and they feel helpless as boys are also same as girls

they do all the "man work" the women
stays home to take care of the kids and cook..
I guess they based this whole thing by that.

At the dawn of time. And dont consider it weak or helpless. Men have fought and killed for there women thru the ages. If you hear someone break into your house do you go check it out or send you man to do it? Dont try to change rolls cause men and women both lose on that one. I dont want a woman who doesnt allow me to open a door for her or take her coat. It doesnt make women weak or helpless its just guys ways of showing he cares.

Since the beginning of time. We were made to believe that, I guess to help boast the male ego and superiority complex. In the early days females were even left out in scientific research. They thought we didn't even have a sex drive and we were only meant to cook dinner and clean the house and sew on buttons. But I don't think it's true. Don't believe it? The male has always been the dominant in strength (had to be to provide, and survive), where as the women have always been the ones taking care of the young. that is just how things have been until lately, brought on by circumstance, then later, pattern and religion.
