They're actually very different words that both have more than one meaning.
Ever: usually means at any time or continuously, or it could mean possibly
E.g. Have you ever seen anything like that?
Are you ever ready?
How did you ever manage to do that?
Even:
1) even numbers (2, 4, , 6, 8, 10, 12, etc)
2) fair, or on the same level e.g. We both got an even amount of cake
3) just (used to emphasize occurrence, coincidence, or simultaneousness of occurrences, basically to show how one thing is happening at the same time as the other) They continued arguing even after she left.
It's hard to tell you in a few sentences how to use these two words...but some popular uses are:
Ever: Do you ever .......(do your homework?)
Have you ever....(done this before)
There's a lot of possibilities
Even: Do you even know the answer?
Even if others don't do the right thing, you can.
I want an even amount of....food? (it can be anything you think of)
Rather than me telling you about these two words, you should pay attention to how people use them when they're participating in every-day conversations
How all of this helps
