A survey has found that almost a quarter of people have
no plans to switch to digital television.

Twenty-three per cent of the 502 respondents said
they would spend less than HK$1,000 on digital board-casting equipment,
while 19 per cent had no interest in buying a set- top box to access digital tv.

一份調查報告指出，近4分之一的受訪者，
仍未有計劃轉看數碼電視。

502位受訪者當中，百分之二十三表示願意付出少於
港幣1000元來安裝數碼廣播儀器，
而百分之十九則無意購入可收看數碼電視的機頂盒。

The survey was conducted by the University of Hong Kong's
Public Opinion Programme between December 10 and 17,
within days of free-to-air broadcasters TVB and ATV beginning
digital broadcasting trials.

此調查報告是由香港大學民意研究計劃，
