briefly, the story is about charlie, his grandparents and wonka going on a journey in space in the great glass elevator. in an accident, they ended up in a space hotel owned by the US government. Then they meet aliens named vermicious knids who devours humans. after a commotion, they go safely back to earth (back to wonka's chocolate factory).
since charlie is going to take over the factory, wonka wanted his family to help. but charlie's grandparents don't want to get out of their bed, so wonka invented a pill to make them young again. however, charlie's grandparents were too greedy, and ate too much, turning them back to babies. So, wonka and charlie went on another adventure to Minusland to attempt to grow grandparents back.
