PERFORMANANCE AREA:

Professional Expertise: Knowledge, experience, areas of strength or weakness

Henry is organized and diligent. He has a tendancy to ask a lot of questions and make an effort to learn more about his products. However, in his time on this project, his testing has had very limited scope and he lacks experience in some areas of coverage. He has struggled with the recent transition and has relied on his predecessor for support, however he does show initiative in taking ownership of his new products.

Henry is still working on refining the overall process. He sometimes requires assistance with his workload. His strengths are his willingness to work to improve and to offer his time to others when he felt underutilized.

One area of vast improvement is Henry’s response time on reports and other requested information. In the past, Henry was consistently slow in submitting any reports/data. Recently Henry has been much more proactive in communication, always staying on top of information he has submitted.

Professional Bearing: How employee handles client relations

Henry interacts well with client. I have not gotten any complaints from clients. His status updates are generally on time and include all necessary information.

Teamwork:How employee handles relations with other staff

Henry maintains a good relationship with his team members. He works closely with certain individuals during his product transition, and has often volunteered his time to others when he could.

Initiative:Assessment of willingness to learn, and interest in advancement

Henry has not shown any interest in advancement, but has shown an eagerness to expand his workload. He recognized when he had available bandwith, and was proactive in seeking more work. He shows enthusiasm and willingness to expand his testing scope.

Leadership: Qualifications for leadership, management and advancement.

Overall Job Performance: Any relevant information concerning employees performance.

Early on the project, Henry's comprehension of requirements and deliverables seemed to lag behind the standard of other new employees. Based on feedback from other team members, I believe he may still lag a bit in these areas and has required assistance in some cases to complete his work (this may be partially due to his being given a much heavier load than he was originally carrying). Henry has done a good job of working hard, however, he needs to get up to speed on his products and provide his test coverage.
