1. For all his skills, he could have easily done it.

如果揀 of, 即係 of all his skills..., 意思係 '在他所有技能裡面...'
e.g. Of all his skills, computing ranks among the best. (在他所有技能裡面, 電腦算係最好的一個).

反而揀 for 既話, i.e. for all his skills..., 意思係 '以他擁有的所有技能' , 咁樣接落下一句 '他應可輕易地完成它' 應該無錯.

(不過如果唔係有得揀, 我可能會填 'with'...)

2. On account of the bad weather, we were all kept back.
(On account of 解 because of)

"Of" 的意思是 "什麼人或事物的"

e.g. Out of all the choices above, I would choose answer "A".
在(以上的)選擇, 我會選擇答案 "A"

2.) B
In account of the bad weather, we were all kept back.

"In" 的意思是 "裹面"

當我們想說把一件事算入或包括(在內)的時候, (整個意思)我們會用"take into account".
所以把 "in" 和 "account" 兩個字放在一起.
* "In account" 是一個詞語.
