自然分娩(Normal Spontaneous Delivery, NSD)
Painful sensation is different for different people, because pain tolerance of a person to other is different. In addition, the first baby (primigravida) will esperience more painful sensation than the multipara.
However, there are some means for reducing the painful sensation during NSD:
1. Performing antenatal exercise: to make sure your muscle and tendons become more flex and lax, so that you can do more good during delivery. Also, if reduce your backache during the delivery.
2. Learning breathing exercise: Learn from your physiotherapist or midwife for how and when to do the deep and shallow breathing, it can help you passing the difficult time.
3. Massage: Prenatal massage that can learn before delivery can help you to relax and get ride of some painful process.

There are some alternative to reduce the pain by medical approach:
1. Entonox: laugh gas-- just inhale when you are painful.
2. Pethidine: An injection of Narcotic medicine
3. Epidural anaesthesia: Pain free by means of infusion of medicine into your back (epidural region)

Usually, the aging will cause the stiff of the muscle and the bone, so if you have kept a very good condition--say: you have done exercise everyday and from your young age, then the age is not a problem for delivery and the pain will not add more than the young age.
