Since 7 is a prime number, its factors are only 1 and 7. So, the greatest common factor for BOTH 7 AND 30 is 1.

7 is prime and 7 doesn't divide 30, so their GCF is 1.

The greatest common factor of 7 and 30 is 1 because your factors for 7 are 1 and 7. For 30 they are 1,2,3,5,10,15,30. Only 1 is the common factor and in this case the only factor in common. Therefore it is the GCF.

None or 1. The greatest number that divides them both is 1.
