What accomplishments distinguished your favorite president as outstanding?
更新1:

My two favorite presidents were Franklin Delano Roosevelt who brought us out of the Depression and with a real Plan for success! Bill Clinton who was the only president who brought us into the "Black" and we had a surplus. He had some positive ideas that were very good for the country. As for the indiscretions of both Mr. Roosevelt and Mr. Clinton in their "private" and "personal" lives, I abstain from pointing the finger. No one has any business digging into another person's business if it doesn't hurt themselves or the country they represent. I agree that no one is "perfect" so I must say that they did well. Both of these men were "true patriots." PEACE!!!

I would have to say President Bill Clinton. I think he is a God send. Mr. Clinton has done a remarkable job in keeping the country stable by putting us in the "black." He saved our forestry and placed it in protective custody. Mr. Clinton was a positive force who provided training programs and a better minimum wage. He never sought war with other countries unless it was necessary. Ultimately, he did a magnificent job of connecting our diverse racial makeup to produce extraordinary results.

FDR because he led the nation during the depression. Here our nation remained hopeful and peaceful. Germany, led by Hitler during the depression, took a very different approach to hard times. Leadership made all the difference in how each nation handled the depression.

Ronald Reagan. After Jimmy Carter's inept leadership(?) left the country in financial despair, a job crisis, Amercans held hostage!! Mr. Reagan turned it around with his optimism, & belief that America is the Greatest country in the World.
"You can come from anywhere in the World, & become an Amercan......"
Only a "select few Hollywood eletist" blow-hards(Alec Baldwin, Madonna, you know who they are) have "threatened" to "leave" the USA( but, alas, they can't seem to find their way out). Perhaps the countries they've "threatened" to go to, probably don't want them either!!
Rest in Peace, Mr. Reagan. Thank YOU for helping US to believe in U.S.Again!!!!

Truman's tale likely became the most impressive. Self-knowledgeable in truth, as he did not bypass to school, slowly worked his way up the ladder until eventually via some thing of an twist of destiny of history he became vp and then President. From there he made a sequence of truly sturdy judgements less than very confusing circumstances. The record begins with the dropping of the atomic bomb, and stated by technique of the shaping of the submit-conflict international. The Marshall Plan actually altered the kind of Europe for a 0.5-century, and the start of the containment coverage became needed. Truman wasn't ideal, yet his record became truly sturdy particularly less than the circumstances. As for fashionable, i'd bypass with Jerry Ford -- an honest guy with a ton of hassle-free experience who were given a foul rap even as in workplace. We were a multitude after Nixon left, and Ford restored integrity to the workplace only by technique of strolling contained in the door. i imagine we realized that further and extra because the years glided by technique of, and we ought to were more suitable off electing him in 1976.
