observing moon and saturn?

i would like to buy a binocular that can let me observe the moon surface (mountains and craters) and saturn's ring. what maginfication and aperture can fulfill this?

binoculars won't cut it, you can't hold them steady enough to see anything. Telescopes require a stable mount:

Too see the rings of saturn you must have at least 40 magnification and aperture about 60MM
this is minimum.More aperture will make immage more bright and clear

Both these objects need more magnification than a binocular can give to be worth observing. In particular, I've found that at least 25x is needed to even _detect_ Saturn's ring; to see it well requires at least 100x. While you can see a bit more detail on the Moon with a binocular, even the smallest telescope which show you much more.

The least expensive telescopes with adequate quality for satisfying observations are these Newtonian reflectors on Dobsonian mounts:

well, first, you can't use binoclulars, you need a telescope. then find a good Ceslestron one. they ROCK.
