The limit is for your own protection. In the event of fradulent use, only the daily limit may be taken out of your account. You certainly can request a limit increase from Barclays and they will oblige. I suggest not removing the limit altogether.

you will need to visit your bank and ask for an increased withdrawl limit. they will give you one, they will choose how much it is. It is unlikely they will increase it from £50 per day to £500 but they may increase it to £150 or £200 then in a few months or so you can increase it more. You may need to upgrade your bank account to get a bigger allowance.

yes, if you have the funds & it is not a brand new account...discuss it with your bank & i am sure they will oblige. if it is a new account..they may increase your limit after a certain amount of time after they have seen that you manage the account properly.

Yeah either go in to your branch and ask, (take some id) or if you have an on line account e mail the request or you should be able to download a form and fiil it in and e mail that. it should go up with in 24 hours.

£50 seems very low, unless there is a specific reason i.e your age then most banks have a limit of £ 2/300 per day. Speak to the bank they will raise it if possible.
