But what if when the "background checking" company calls the work place, and ask whether "Susan (our protagonist)" worked @ that place before, the manager saids "Yes she has". By doing so, is "Susan" finally passed the employment background check? And by doing so, how is IRS going to know?
However, the income I earn is INsignificant, 400-500 each month only, as a student working part time undertable. And so what I am saying is, if the owner of the business gets audited, I was never on the book anyway, so I am okay right? What I am more worried is, if I put it on my resume, and the background checking company DOES call my work place and my manager said "YES he worked there before", will the background checking company go any further actions as to "request proof that I worked there?" AKA pay stubs? Or will the "future employer" himself ask me for proof of employment (aka pay stub) ?
