Please help this recent college grad with tax filing question!?

So I graduated back in september of 2007, didn't get a job until January of 2008. So I assume 1st paycheck comes Feb of 2008. I know tax forms are due April. So ...my question might be stupid , but ....do I have to file a tax form ? Or can I wait till next year? If I have to file, which one? ( I have never file one before)
更新1:

I have never received any income before the year 2007, like i said, 2/1/2008 is my first day to receive any income, so do I still need to file for my april 2008 Tax forms?

If you didn't have income for 2007, you don't file a tax return for 2007.

If you made money during calendar year 2007 (January 1 - December 31), then you have to file April 15, 2008.

All real deductions. there is not any trouble-free form for this. in case you're taking those deductions you may record a 1040, with an itemized deduction sheet, I forget approximately the form call. H&R block can do your taxes for you, or you're able to do an internet tax coaching provider for a splash greater low-value.

I assume you are a dependent on your parent's return.
Loans do not count as income. Scholarships, fellowships, grants that covered more than your tuition count as income. Stipends count as income

If your only income was interest and dividends, you do not have to file unless that income was more than $850.

If all you had were wages, you wouldn't have to file until the amount was over $5350 ($8750 a for an independent adult).

If you did not work in 2007 then you don't have to file. If you did, basically you would be filing to get back what you had withheld. Most likely your parents will be able to claim you as a dependant, so if you do have to file be sure to file as a dependant.

Did you have any income in 2007? If not there's no need to file this year.

If you earned less than the filing requirement amount for your filing status in 2007 there's no need to file. However if you had income taxes withheld from your pay you'd need to file to have them refunded to you.

ya, sorry man, if you made any money at all, even if it was under the table, you need to report it and file. The last thing you want is the IRS to audit you.
