Should I give him this poem, or should I not?

Title: The Gaze From Him


Even though my words would hold much more meaning
If they were spoken from my lips
Take assurance in knowing they are spoken from my heart
As I look right into your eyes
I feel the manner in which you look at me
And I am completely unable to speak

Expressing my thoughts
Becomes a minute matter
As I surrender total self control to your gaze

The moment our eyes meet
My body and soul shivers
And are overcome with unspoken yearning and excitement

Through the gaze our desires are shared
In this moment we are one
Completely surrendering our souls to one another

What will become of our meeting eyes
If the desires of this gaze were met with reality
If the desires of our souls were made real as our flesh

Will the once yearning for unlimited passion
Be replaced with one of regret
Or will the gaze turn into an occasional glance

I fear not the possibilities in our gaze
But rather the impossibilities in a glance
