Drink too many cups of coffee will rapidly depleted the calcium in your bone, and make you go to the bathroom more frequently. The reason why people says "drink coffee stops your growth" is the coffee will deplete the calcium in your bone, as a result, you will shrink. (Like the senior citizen, they will lose a couple of inches when they reach 80-90.) It does not stops your growth! One to two cups a day with proper amount milk is recommended. Take citrus calcium daily!

Caffine does a lot of things but no one has proven (at least through the FDA) the it stops bone or height growth. (I am 5'1 and have drank coffee all my life too, up until 3 years ago, had to give it up because of the caffine).
Some say "might" cause.....
The key word is "might." One can plausibly argue that caffeine consumption might stunt growth, but as far as the author of this web site can tell no one has demonstrated that it does, nor have he seen anyone storming the ramparts at the FDA demanding that such research be undertaken. No doubt that's because U.S. children already drink plenty of caffeinated sodas, yet we aren't faced with epidemic numbers of short, spindly kids but rather lots and lots of fat ones.

A small band of caffeine opponents, though, sees the lack of anticaffeine research as evidence of the dread hand of the coffee industry at work.

Some people think it impairs classroom performance and robs kids of sleep. They proposed a national "zero caffeine for kids" campaign and demands caffeine labeling on foods and supplements.

It might just be a wives tale, maybe one for mythbusters! Personally I don't think so, I think it is bad for you all around, but doesn't really do long-term harm, but I may be wrong too. It may be why I am so short!

She additionally in call for that all and sundry of those that suggested it stunted progression became as quickly as carried out via skill of employer grad pupils and Doctorate candidates, even because of the fact the others have been funded via skill of extensive agencies with a vest interest in income that offered caffeine merchandise. She concluded that it did stunt progression, and he or she had intentionally been eating great parts of caffeine in each coffee and Coke from age 14 merely so she might desire to now not be tall merely like the remainder of her better half and childrens. She became as quickly as 5'2" and here shortest guy or lady in her better half and childrens became as quickly as 6'2" and that became as quickly as her sister.who began eating coffee at an analogous time as she became as quickly as 17. i'm stunning specific it stunts progression. maximum amphetamines do.

I had this argument with a friend who was a research immunologist. She pulled up test after test on both sides of the issue, but pointed out that all the ones that said it did not stunt growth said it was inconclusive, while all those that said it did stunt growth had concrete proof. She also noted that all the ones that said it stunted growth was done by university grad students and Doctorate candidates, while the others were funded by big companies with a vest interest in sales that sold caffeine products.

She concluded that it did stunt growth, and she had intentionally been drinking large amounts of caffeine in both coffee and Coke from age 14 so that she would not be tall like the rest of her family. She was 5'2" and the next shortest person in her family was 6'2" and that was her sister.who started drinking coffee when she was 17.

I am pretty sure it stunts growth. Most amphetamines do.
