A, B, C are three points in the Argand diagram representing the complex numbers z1, z2, z3 respectively. If z1=0, z2= 1+i and triangle ABC is equilateral, find z3

Answer: since triangle ABC is equilateral and z1=0
thus, z3=z2(cos60 加減 isin60)
我不明白為何這樣計

因為ABC是equilateral﹐角BAC=60
所以將z2順時針或逆時針60度就得到z3﹐而根據複數乘法的幾何意義可得

z3=z2(cos60 + isin60)
或z3=z2(cos-60 + isin-60)=z2(cos60 - isin60)
