They DID NOT BUY(not buy) any but they bought some apples and a big bunch of bananas. How much DID they PAY (pay) for the apples and bananas? They paid six dollars for them. Jane CARRIED (carry) them home.Her father was very happy when he SAW (see) the big bunch of fruit. Why WAS (be) he happy? Most of them got the correct answers except this sentence [How much DID they PAY (pay) for the apples and bananas?] because this is a question. You need to use [did] as [an auxiliary verb]
