A constant force acts on a particle of mass 50kg for 10s, causing it to reach a velocity of 50m/s from rest. Find
i the force , and the acceleration this force would give a particle of mass 2000kg,
ii the distance through which the particle of mass 2000 kg would move while being accelerated from rest to 15m/s

i) F = maa = (50 - 0)/ 10 = 5 ms^(-2)
F = 50 x 5 = 250 N
a = F/m = 250 / 2000 = 0.125 ms^(-2)
ii) if a = 0.125
v^2 = 2as
s =(15^2)/ (2*0.125)
= 900m
