A charged object mean it is with only positive charged?

Charged object means the object carrys "net charges". It can be postive or negative.

It depends on the material used to rub the metal and the nature of the metal

Different materials (including metals) have different tendency to lose charges.
Some loses negative charges(donate electrons) and some loses positive charges(accept electrons)
