昨天看了之後，就覺得你將but變成buy；果然猜測不錯。因為buy shaped不但不明其意，更文法有錯（有兩個主動詞）

可以譯做：明白過去，卻深受未來所影響。
建築商的真正的意思，也得要看前後文：但按推測，可能是指：建築物得著過往經驗的好處，但更具未來先進的創見。
