What's wrong with Yahoo Questions?

probably 'cause here's where people go looking for answers, not necessarily questions.

This is a great question since people rarely answer questions here based on anything approaching genuine rigor but just biased uninformed opinion.

I am appalled at how many "resolved" questions have obviously inane or incorrect answers as their best answer. They are not resolved!

Also, the quality of question is often fairly lame. And, I mean, come on people - it's quicker to google the answer than rely on the completely random ideas of someone you wouldn't even ask for the time if you saw them on the street.

Why not call it "Yahoo Opinions" or "Yahoo Misinformation" or "Yahoo I Don't Like My Job and This is Better Than Minesweeper" or "Yahoo I'm too Damn Lazy or Stupid to Find Things out for Myself"?

Having said that, it's all my opinion and I actually like it here, there is some really cool stuff - now doesn't that sum up my point precisely?!

they get alot more answers then questions. think bout it more people answer then ask! so they named it yahoo answers!
