Room area = 20 x 15 ft² = 300 ft²

9 sq. ft. equal to one sq. yd.
Area = 300/9 yd² = 100/3 yd²

Cost = 100/3 x $4 = $400 / 3 = $133.33

Area = 20 x 15 sq. ft = 300 sq. ft.

One square yard equals to 9 sq. ft. (3 ft. * 3 ft.).

Area = 300/9 sq. yd = 100/3 sq. yd.

Cost = 100/3 x $4 = $400 / 3 = $133.33

15*20=300 square feet.
1 square yard = approx. 9 square feet.

So your total cost will be = 300*(4/9) = $ 133.00

(3ft per yard) 15ft is 5 yards 20 ft is 6.67 yard. 5x6.67=33.35 sq. yds. At $4/sq. yd (33.35x4) it would be $133.40.........before taxes and labor.

Area of the room = 15*20 = 300 ft^2

1 Yard = 3 feet
so area of the room is 300/(3*3) = 100 sq. yard

So, overall cost of the carpet would be $4.00*100 = $400
