Why dont Tess and Anna get along well ? Do you get along well with your family ?

I am assuming you are talking about the remake of Freaky Friday with Jamie Lee Curtis as the mother.

One of the reasons they don't get along well is that both the mother and daughter failed to see situations from the other's point of view. The daughter didn't know how hard it was for a single parent to hold a job and to take care of a teenagers, while the mother was too busy with her wedding to pay attention to the daughter's likes and dislikes (e.g. her band gig).
