Mr Lam bought 30 mobile phones at $1600 each in July.The price increased to $1750 in August and then decreased to $1400 in September.If Mr Lam sold 16 and 14 mobile phones in August and September respectively,how much did he gain or loss?

=$28 000
Money got in September:
$1400*14
=$19 600
Total amount of money got from selling phones:
$28000+$19600
=$47 600
Total amount of money used in buying phones:
$1600*30
=$48 000
