Below are two adjectives phrases:

I.It is+adjective+for…+to-infinitive
e.g. It's essential for you to follow a special diet.

II.It is+adjective+of +noun/pronoun+to-infinitive
e.g. It's rude of those girls at the back to chat all through the talk.

Would you like to tell me that what is the different between these two adjectives phrases mentioned above?(i.e. When to use we “of ” and “for”) Explain detaily & illustrate with examples please. Thanks a lot.

✔ 最佳答案
例句A:It is difficult for us to do homework.
意思指對於(For)我們(Us)來說,做功課很困難。
例句B:It is kind of you to give me informations .
意思指對於你(You)提供資料,令人滿意。

For後面跟某些人/某人,是要替後面那件事做補充,而那件事是由For後的人親自處理的。
如例句A,功課是由For後的Us親自去做的。
Of是描述你對那件事情的感受,而那件事是由Of後的人親自處理的,而不是你自己,你只是對於他人所做的表達感受。
如例句B,你是對別人替你找資料這個動作表達Kind這個感受。

These examples above are from my tutorial notes It's essential for you to follow a special diet.對你(you)來說, 跟從淢肥餐單(adjective+for)很重要(adjective). 跟從淢肥餐單 的動作, 是要 "你"來做的.

It's rude of those girls at the back to chat all through the talk.那些女生一直公然談話(to-infinitive), 很不禮貌(adjective).很不禮貌的意見, 是別人認為的, 而不是那些女生親自感到的.
