要寫steps and answer,thx~
1/$12000 is deposited in a bank at an interest rate of 8% p.a. compounded . quarterly. Find the amount after 3 years.

2/$4000 is deposited in a bank at an interest rate or 9% p.a. compounded monthly.Find the amount and interest after 1.5 years.

另外,我部計數機無「^」符號,甘我可以點禁十次方?

如果你部計數機冇「^」..
可以按shift→「x」→「10」
咁就系10次方架啦!!!

「^」依個只系系電腦同人講呢個系x次方既意思e.g 10既2次方 →10^2 =100計數機按法: 10 shift「x(乘)」「2」

1. Amount

= 12000 (1+ 8%/4)^12

= $15218.90 (cor. to 2 d.p.)

2. Amount

= 4000(1+ 9%/12)^18

= $4575.84 (cor. to 2 d.p.)

Interest = 4575.84 - 4000 = $575.84

你部計數機有沒有 " x^y " 這個符號? 這個制 = " ^ ". 你部計數機是什麼型號?

1/ $12000*[1+(8%/4)]^12=$15218.90(corr. to 2 d.p.)
2/ a) Amount=$4000*[1+(9%/12)]^18=$4575.84(corr. to 2 d.p.)
b) Interest=$4575.84-$4000=$575.84
p.s. EXP可以禁十次方

2)
Amount:$4000 x (1+9%)^3
Interest=Amount-$4000
