school....it depends on which school you want to attend..
like community college...the international student's fees are around US$130 per unit..
it also depends on how many unit you are going to take...you should find the counselor of the college or university...anyway,you need to see which school you are considering.
rent a place...mostly,rent a studio...it costs around US$700 per month. transportation,you can buy a monthly bus pass if you take the bus everyday,that should be cheaper than you pay for it daily. a monthly bus pass costs US$48.of course, it depends on the area. there are different bus compaies in different area,so the fees for transportation may also be different.
maybe you can find a part time job right here...so it may solve some parts of problems.

if you are not then i do not recommend you to join the private consultancies because it is harder for anyone to judge and monitor the academic standard of the so-called "recommeded schools"
