how to identify past perfect tense .
present perfect tense.
past tense.
past continuous tense??

use simple english.....
help me easy to identify...

no.... all the answers are not the correct answer... I sure know what are the tenses... I only hope to know how can identify in quizes...

identify=識別 It is diffcult to identify tenses in SENTENSES.

present perfect - has/have + past participle (e.g. gone, done)
past perfect - had + past participle (e.g. gone, done)
past continuous - was/were + present participle (e.g. going, doing)
past - base form + ed (e.g. wanted, showed)
- for irregular verbs, check the verb table (e.g. "went" for go, "did" for do)

This is how you "identify" them. For their use, you need to check your grammar guide.
