At a beach on a sunny day, the water feels far cooler than the sand. Fully explain this phenomenon – you must give at least 3 reasons, fully explained.

Since the specific heat capacity of water is much higher than the sand, it's temperature is lower than the beach under the same power of heating by sun. Moreover, water is also a better conductor of heat than sand, therefore it brings away heat from human body faster to give a cooler feeling.
