Referring to the following chemical equation,
a MnO2 + b PbO2 + c H+  d MnO4- + f Pb2+ + g H2O
Which of the following is correct?

1) No. of Mn in MnO2 and MnO4- should be the same, therefore a = d
2) No. of Pb in PbO2 and Pb2+ should be the same, therefore b = f
3) No. of H+ should be twice of no. of H2O, therefore c = 2g

Thus, C is correct.

C is the answer.

The number of element on both sides should be the same and charges should be balanced as well. When you look at the Mn, if a=2 then d=2 as well. So the only answer is C.
