Mr Chan wants to paste the walls of his bathroom with tiles of dimensions 6 inches x 8 inches. The dimensions of the bathroom are 8ft. x 5ft. and its height is 9 ft. on one side of the walls and a window of 2ft. x 1.5 ft. on the other side of the walls.
A) Estimate the area 0f the walls of the bathroom.
B) Estimate the number of tiles needed if the walls must be fully covered with tiles. If one box of tiles contains 30 pieces, estimate the number of boxes if tiles needed.
