Present continuous indicates something happens actively in which the object/person is doing that thing now. Present simple is the basic form of all verb, such as eat, drink, run..... it indicates something that is going to happen anytime or something that is a law, such as 'I drink a glass of juice everyday' in this sentence, i drink a glass of juice everyday, today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow.... i will stil do the same thing
