Just google it, but just rememberIt takes 100% to make 1 whole thing, e.g if you get 100% in a test, you answered 1 whole test right
and as a result, we can convert decimals to percentages, as 10% = 10/100 = 0.1
Thats the most basic level, but if you want something more indepth, buy a book or google it as I mentioned ealier

Percentage just reduces things to a scale of 100.

take 5% for an example % means over 100 so it will be 5 over 100 and divide 5 into 100 and you will get 1 over 20
