log is defined as an inverse function of f(x)=10^x, same as ln, an inverse function of f(x)=e^x.
The meaning of log is if g(x)=log x, and f(x)=10^x, then g[f(x)]=x, and f[g(x)]=x.
It is always log(10)=1, log(1)=0, we have 10^1=10, 10^0=0.
