solve equation?

Lack of brackets leads to confusion and wrong answers.
Will assume that you mean :-
(a + 4) / 2 = (a + 4) / a
a (a + 4) = 2(a + 4)
a² + 4a = 2a + 8
a² + 2a - 8 = 0
(a + 4) (a - 2) = 0
a = - 4 , a = 2

match numbers of both sides of the equation. u will find
a = 2

a + 4/2 = a + 4/a
a + 2 = a + 4/a
2 = 4/a
2a = 4
a = 4/2
a = 2

a= 2

Obviously 2!

a + 4/2 = a + 4/a
a + 2 = a + 4/a
2 = 4/a
2a = 4
a = 2

You sholuld really use your math skills to present the equation:
P(Parenthasis)
E(Exponents)
M (Multiplication)
D(Division)
A(Addition)
S(Subtraction)

Had you empimented this into the equation then everybody wouldn't have the wrong answer.
