1.Don,Gill,Joe are going to share a sum of money.Don obtain 1/3 of the amount of yhe remaining amount and the rent belongs to Joe.
a)If Gill obtain $800 less than Joe does,find the sum of money.
b)the sum is now reallocated.After the reallocation , Gill has $150 less than Don has and Joe Has $150 less than Gill has. how much does each of them obtain??

a)The sum of money= 800÷1/3
= 800×3
= 2400
b)Let Joe obtain $x,
x+x+150+x+150+150 = 24 00
3x+450 = 2400
3x = 1950
x = 650
∴ Joe can obtain $650,
∴Don can obtain = $650+$150 = $800,
∴Gill can obtain = $800+$150 = $950
