Cream Pumpkin Soup
Tool: Gas Stove or Electronic Stove
Duration:
Preparation - 5 minutes
Cooking - 15 minutes
Ingrediant (4 servings)
1. Liquid Cream - 2 tablespoons
2. Broth / Light Stock - 2 cups
3. Butter/ Margarine- 2 tablespoons
4. Pumpkin, chopped into pieces - 2 cups
5. Fresh Milk- 1/4 or a quarter cup
6. Flour - 2 tablespoons
7. Salt and Pepper- a little
Procedures-
1. Heat the pot. Melt the butter.
Pour in the broth and pumpkin.
Cook a while until the pumpkin chunks are soften.
2. Add some salt.
Mix the flour into the soup for a thicker texture.
3. Blend in the fresh milk. (Remember don't boil).
Put in a pinch of black pepper as flavoring.
Remarks:
For a thicker soup without using the flour.
you can add some western taro.
First of all, peel the skin and chop into chunks.
Boil the taro with some water until they are soften.
Pour the taros into a blender, and blend into a paste.
Mix in the taro paste into the pot like the Procedure 1.
