According to my experience, it's not the school premises or facilities provided which still impress me, but teachers who really care for students (with real action).
There are places which allow students to play basketball and badminton. However, there are many other better places I can book to play sports.
Admittedly, most of my old teachers were bad (lazy), but fortunately I still remember a few who are helpful and caring. That's what makes the school deseves a little respect from me.
To contribute to your school, it's EASY:
The best way is fully support all its fund-raising activities (such as walkathon). No money, no education! Equally important is the way you behave inside and OUTSIDE school. Most people might not care whether every single student from your school has 10 A's in HKCEE, but easily feel bad if a single student smokes or misbehaves in public. So behave yourself to give everyone a good impression.
